Percy Harvin to rejoin team soon, Doug Martin to IR and more

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin should rejoin the team for practice following the team’s Week 10 game, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Harvin sustained a hip injury in the offseason that required surgery to repair and has been on the physically unable to perform list all season. He’s eligible to be activated to the 53-man roster at any time, but Seattle doesn’t have to do so for a while.

Josh Freeman remains on the roster and can move the ball downfield, but his passes have found too many opponents’ hands in 2017. The Vikings will not play Freeman simply because of his $3 million price tag. On Thursday night, the team understood that its key to success was a heavy dose of Adrian Peterson, and while the MVP running back wasn’t always successful, his two touchdowns were critical in pushing Minnesota to an unlikely win.

Sunday’s game is holding even, with a 1.5-point edge to Baltimore being the largest margin currently available. Even on the road it’s difficult to look past the Bengals, who are one of the best teams in the NFL when their offense is firing on all cylinders. If Andy Dalton and A.J. Green can get in a rhythm, it will be impossible for the Ravens to stay in step.

Many people much smarter then me have been openly speculating that Jonathan Martin of the Dolphins doesnt have the drive to get bullied or play football anymore- and that this whole manufactured rage at his White teammates calling him the N-Word and threatening to kill him is a way for Martin to make a quck buck in a lawsuit on his way out the door. I wouldnt put it past RG3 to follow this trend, except he’s using his knees as a vehicle to cash-in instead of using them as a vehicle to win-out. 7
